Our Story

As long as I can recall I have day dreamed about having a home near the beach / ocean.   After years of looking for my perfect beach home, in 2016, I found it in Hyannis, on Cape Cod.  I know people say, nothing is perfect, but I walked in the door and knew I was “home”.  I also knew I wanted to share this amazing blessing with family, friends and friends too be.  Having spent decades traveling though HomeAway, Airbnb and the like, I had a clear idea of what was often missing and what I wanted to provide for the guests in our beach home. 

A warm and peaceful embrace welcomes you as you enter for your time away.  That ‘home away from home’ feeling with a touch of ahhh, always gets me when I walk in the door.  It is very similar to the feeling I get when crossing over the bridge to the island of Cape Cod.

Located in a quite neighborhood, 5 minutes away from everything you can ask for while on vacation or working on the road.  This year-round home offers everything you need to pack up your personal items and get on the road.  If you happen to forget something, there are dozens of specialty shops along with a few chain stores to choose from.  Order your weeks’ worth of groceries and have them delivered by instacart to coordinate with your arrival, unpack and hit the beach with ease.

So many choices to dining out: Harbor side, Ocean front, on the quaint Main St or all over town and experience your own taste test of where is the best Clam Chowder can be found Mid Cape.  A great steak is right up the road and there are more lobster rolls within a 5-minute drive then you’ll have time to sample.

With live music a short walk away at the Melody Tent, 5 – minute drive to ferries for a day trip to The Vineyard, Nantucket and Nantasket and a central location made for day trips across Cape Cod, you have plenty to do and see. Of course, relaxing on the large back deck or by the back gardens on papasan chairs is one of my favorite things to do after a long day at one of the many Barnstable beaches.

Enjoy a restful night sleep on comfy beds made up with fine linens and extra pillows, as central AC / Heat keeps you at your perfect temperature. The masters ensuite allows your friends or children to have a separate full bathroom with plush towels, hand soap and lotion supplied.

Load the provided beach chairs, towels, beach blanket, umbrella and coolers in the car with your sunscreen and snacks and the beach awaits a few minutes down the road with no traffic lights or highways on your way.

With a Golden Retriever and two sleepy cats, our home is pet friendly and we have had the pleasure of welcoming so many furry friends over the years, Food/water bowls are available for your convenience.
